((Alma's unconscious game goes here! I have put up a discussion plurk here since I know a bunch of the folks playing it don't use irc, any questions etc can go there. If for some reason you don't have access, let me know.

Since a large part of this unconscious is puzzle-based, if you need to leave and come back later: 1) you can handwave that you went along with the group or 2) if you want to explore everything yourself still, feel free to assume your character wandered off/back to check something (etc) -- but note that when you come back, you'll find whatever puzzles have since been 'solved' will remain 'solved'. It won't reset, so any paths that are opened or anything like that will stay that way.

That said, there are multiple things to do here, and changes still impact things, so if you oocly have to leave and come back, and when you do everything seems 'done', there are at least still things to look at and possibly multiple paths which you might want to do something about, so don't feel discouraged from starting back in after other people have opened doors or w/e)).

[clenches his fist around it tightly, balling the handkerchief up again]

[Hasn't looked down yet, and misses it.]

Alma said... he used to think about it. A life together. [Grips the dress.] Did we--?

We died.

... She would have been beautiful.

[tightens his grip around the handkerchief until the ring bites into his palm, and bows his head, and doesn't say anything]

[Closes his eyes, taking a deep breath to try and keep composed.]

[also trying to steady his breathing to stop his eyes from prickling]

[Tightens his grip on the dress, pulling a slightly shaky hand back and putting it to the Rose Cross on his uniform, digging his his nails.

Alma was wanting these things deep down, and the Order and the war took it all away from him--from her--]

[mired in the same line of thinking, voice heavy and thick when he finally makes himself speak]

. . .

We can't fuck up this time. If anybody tries to stop us from making he—hi . . . Alma happy—

It won't happen. [Shakes his head, pursing his lips.] It can't happen.

[They can't let anyone--or anything--get in the way of Alma's happiness again.]

. . .

Move in with us.

[... Blinks, lifting his head back up before looking down at him.] Huh?

. . . in the other room. Move all your stuff over.

[... Purses his lips and nods.]

[looks up at him uncertainly, then back down at the handkerchief in his hands]

. . .

[Lets go of his coat and rubs his eye with his palm shortly, glancing down at the handkerchief as well.]

[holds it up for him]

[Ah--reaches to take it, pushing it open when he feels something in--]

[Oh. Oh.]

. . .

We need to figure out what to do in this room.

... Yeah. [Voice cracks a little, folding the handkerchief back up neatly to keep the ring safe.]

. . . unwrap it and put it on the bureau.

[moving over to the bureau himself and]

[staring down at the wedding registry]

[. . .]

[Looks up, following over himself and looking over Guil's shoulder at what's on the desk, unfolding the handkerchief as he does.]

... There's only one name.

. . .

[reaches for the quill. hesitates. then picks it up and glances at the other Kanda]

[Sets the ring down slowly on the desk by it, still on the handkerchief. Looks back up at him.

... Nods once, taking a step back to give him room.]
