Alma's unconscious game
((Alma's unconscious game goes here! I have put up a discussion plurk here since I know a bunch of the folks playing it don't use irc, any questions etc can go there. If for some reason you don't have access, let me know.
Since a large part of this unconscious is puzzle-based, if you need to leave and come back later: 1) you can handwave that you went along with the group or 2) if you want to explore everything yourself still, feel free to assume your character wandered off/back to check something (etc) -- but note that when you come back, you'll find whatever puzzles have since been 'solved' will remain 'solved'. It won't reset, so any paths that are opened or anything like that will stay that way.
That said, there are multiple things to do here, and changes still impact things, so if you oocly have to leave and come back, and when you do everything seems 'done', there are at least still things to look at and possibly multiple paths which you might want to do something about, so don't feel discouraged from starting back in after other people have opened doors or w/e)).

- The scientist's/Edgar's body being further damaged/vandalized
- Anything someone might have said that could have triggered something?
- If people other than the Kandas has laid in the bed.
- If both Kanda's names had been on the registry
- If Alma's name was clarified on the registry
- If Alma's body parts had been tossed in the well

If someone else had sunk into mud -- well, I don't think it would have happened because it would take hours to do, but it's possible that someone would have lingered back just to do that -- Alma's self-hate would have been drastically amplified.
If they'd damaged the scientists or Edgar his guilt over murdering them would have got considerably worse.
It's hard to trigger things in Alma's unconscious with words because he's largely action-driven in there, but it did happen with both Kanda and Lavi at different points, so it's possible! Hard to say what without knowing the words, though. It pretty much has to be just the right thing at just the right time.
Other people lying in the bed would have only unlocked the trap door if Kandas weren't playing. Since they were, it wouldn't. However, it would unlock the possibility of Alma being more attracted to whoever did it since that was basically the sexbed.
The name "Kanda Yuu" stood for both of them! Adding "Guillotine" wouldn't have done much (since Alma doesn't think of him as Guillotine and actively tries to avoid doing so, honestly).
Clarifying Alma's name on the registry would have made the desire to have a 'proper' marriage drastically increase in the now -- the reason that was suppressed was because of Guil shooting it down when Alma had first time sex nerves, basically, so it's classified as a "reachable desire of the past", but putting Alma's name -- this life's name -- on it would push it back into the spot it was at before Guil did a thing.
Alma's body parts being tossed in the well were one of the options for the neg solution for that room!

I was thinking "Yuu Kanda" and "Yuu Kanda", like a double marriage. :|a But I guess he assumed that anyway.
Also not totally related but assuming Alma will eventually find out people were head-hopping in him how will he react/think about them/specific people who went in.

Yeah, on paper, the name being the same is the name, so it was an (indistinct) + Yuu Kanda marriage kya.
GONNA DEPEND HOW HE FINDS OUT REALLY. I can almost guarantee his first reaction is going to be horror and guilt because he's pretty sure whatever's inside his head is stuff people shouldn't be seeing.
