((Alma's unconscious game goes here! I have put up a discussion plurk here since I know a bunch of the folks playing it don't use irc, any questions etc can go there. If for some reason you don't have access, let me know.

Since a large part of this unconscious is puzzle-based, if you need to leave and come back later: 1) you can handwave that you went along with the group or 2) if you want to explore everything yourself still, feel free to assume your character wandered off/back to check something (etc) -- but note that when you come back, you'll find whatever puzzles have since been 'solved' will remain 'solved'. It won't reset, so any paths that are opened or anything like that will stay that way.

That said, there are multiple things to do here, and changes still impact things, so if you oocly have to leave and come back, and when you do everything seems 'done', there are at least still things to look at and possibly multiple paths which you might want to do something about, so don't feel discouraged from starting back in after other people have opened doors or w/e)).

They come out from the table.

... What if we moved the body?

The chains seem to make no logical sense, unfortunately. They vanish into the floor on either side of the trap door, just as organically as they start from the table.

[tugging on the chains there, calling back to Lavi as he does]

We could try that . . . You'll be prepared if it turns out to be some kind of monster we gotta fight, right?

I have a butcher's knife and am good at running.

I assume you can take care of yourself in a fight. Probably kick ass and take names.

Aa, I never go anywhere without an arsenal on me.

Good. I'll move the body then. How does that sound?

[nods and draws a couple of bone knives he had tucked away in his clothes]

I'll cover you.

[Lifting up the corpse and taking it off the table then]

[It is a good thing I am used to carrying corpses around]

In what manner are you holding the knife while you do this, and where will you put the body?

[Knife got tucked away in Lavi's belt if he could manage. Otherwise, it's sitting on the table for now]

[And if no bad things seem to be happening, Lavi is going to set the body on the chair he just vacated]

The chains loosen abruptly and the trap door opens, a ladder rolling down into the darkness below.

ting ting ting...

The red orb falls out of the archway between the two rooms and rolls to a stop.

[Oh hey, we did it!]

[Going to check out that red orb]

You did it!

[keeping weapons out and watching the now open trap door, just in case]

It's a plain, walnut sized red orb, sitting free now. It didn't take any damage from falling to the ground.

[Turning back to Nova, holding the orb out to him]

Think we should keep this?

Definitely. It could turn out to be useful later.

[takes the orb, tucking it away into a pocket]

Through the trap door now?

[Also grabbing the knife]

[And turning to look at the people milling about in the other room]

... We probably should at least stay in line of sight of everyone, yeah?

Or at least tell them we're heading down . . .
