You fall into mud. It is sticky and sucking and cloying and whether you stay still and try to remain calm or struggle and try to get out, you're sucked downward. You can't breathe, you can't (of course) see, and you can feel the crushing weight of earth on you. When the blackness becomes overwhelming, you find yourself somewhere else...

Shut up, there's something up with this floor.

[ He's going to look closer to see if there's any holes on or around the tile floor. ]

[No holes!]

[kneels and just presses his hand against it]

[It shifts under your touch. It feels to you like if you pressed a little it would crack open.]

[. . . presses just a little more firmly, like trying to sink his fingers into it without breaking it]

[It creaks. You can't phase your fingers through it.]

[PUNCHES]

When you punch the mirror, it fractures into a million pieces almost at once, with an incredibly loud sound that seems to reverberate around the room. The pieces fall away into the hole that is revealed. It's hard to see what's in there without going down through it.
