You can't breathe, you can't (of course) see, and you can feel the crushing weight of earth on you. When the blackness becomes overwhelming, you find yourself somewhere else...

[Hopping on one foot, just gave his foot away]

[okay. the foot kind of makes sense, but . . . ]

[moves over to him, holding his hand out for the shovel]

What're you clearing? I'll help out.

Things I need to be dealing with! [offers the shovel]

[puts the shovel in the ground, leaning on it]

What kind of things?

Uhh, like, those blisters are bloodlust. I don't want it all to well up so I'm trying to flatten it out a bit at a time! You know.

So it doesn't go all over the place at once?

How about the other ones?

Stuff like that! I'm just keeping the area to the left of here all nice.

And what's to the left?

Uhh, mostly aather feelings and thoughts about the future.

So you're taking care of all of this so that part can stay how you want it to be? That makes sense.

Where's all this coming from, anyway?

All my past and stuff. Let's not talk about it! I'm trying to keep this place steady, okay. Other parts can handle that.

So this part gets influenced by the other parts of your heart. If they all calm down, that makes it easier for you here, right?
